It's finally here!! Our basic How to Use Your Camera workshop

Hi MPA Members!

Hope your semester is going well.

We are holding a basic How To Use My Camera workshop this Saturday!!

During this workshop, we'll cover all your questions of how to use your camera.

Please bring your camera and manual, that way if you have any questions, we can look it up together and show you where to find your answers.

Here is the information you need to know to come to this workshop:


WHEN: Saturday, February 2 (This Saturday)

WHAT TIME? : Come to The Sil's room @ 10 am! It should be only an hour.

WHERE: Come meet us at The Sil's room (McMaster's Student Newspaper) : MUSC B110 ...it's right near the Copy/Print center downstairs.

Basic How-to-use-your-camera workshop!

We'll be hosting a basic camera workshop in a couple weeks. Please keep posted by checking out the website to see when the date will be!

November Field Trip

October was a bit of a flop but we're making it up with tons of workshops and our second field trip!

On Thursday November 15th, we're heading downtown Hamilton to capture various historical architecture situated around the city.

If you're interested, please meet at the front of the McMaster Museum of Art at 1:30.

Remember, it's getting cold out there so dress for the weather!

Lighting Workshop!

On Tuesday November 13th, MPA's, Jeff Green, will be hosting a second workshop!

This workshop will focus on different lighting techniques, including do-it-yourself lighting. The workshop will start at 5:50 in the Sil's office. It's open to both SLR and Digital members!

So take advantage of what little free time you have left before exams!!

With exams around the corner, November is your last chance to learn the tricks of our darkroom!

*Darkroom is situated in Wentworth House B/115.

Send your photos to Between The Lines!!

Mac Photo Club is working with McMaster's Art & Entertainment magazine: Between the Lines. They're asking for us to send our amazing photographs to them! They publish 4 times a year, and want to print more photographs.

They're looking for good quality pictures VERY soon as they're set to publish this edition early November. So get clicking and send photos their way!

Feel free to send poetry, short stories or art their way as well.

Submissions may or may not get published, but why not try?

Remember!: Put your name and that you're from Mac Photo Club in your subject line.

Digital Workshop!

The much awaited first digital workshop is finally here! This is the first of a series of (...?) and I hope all you digital members can make it! The workshop should last a half hour to fourty five minutes plus question period.
Make sure to bring your cameras and thirst for knowledge!!
